Davenport Sea Glass Origin
San Vicente Creek in Davenport near Santa Cruz, California, overflowed in the 1970s at Lundberg Studios (art glass manufacturer) where huge bins of end-of-day glass (scrap glass) was stored outside. These flood waters washed the glass into the creek eventually ending up in the Pacific Ocean at Davenport Beach, thus the name of the sea glass. Davenport sea glass in some of the most sought after coveted sea glass in the world for its beauty and unique patterns.
Most of the Davenport sea glass I sell comes from a brave treasure hunter who lives near Santa Cruz, California, just south of Davenport Beach, who has been collecting sea glass for years by taking a boat equipped with machinery that blows the sand around (like a leaf blower) the ocean floor revealing these exquisite sea glass jewels.

**Due to import restrictions sea glass cannot be mailed to Canada, because they consider it radioactive, even though it's only Vaseline (glow-in-the-dark) glass that has minute amounts. Other sellers may declare a different item or customs may miss it, but I cannot ship to Canada unless the laws change.**
