Description
This is a rare WWII English-made airborne pathfinder patch. This type of patch was issued to U.S. paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division and 101st Airborne Division during World War II. The pathfinders were the first paratroopers dropped during an airborne operation, as their job was to set up beacons to guide the troop transport planes into the landing zone. The patch is in overall good, used condition for its age. It has a thick construction. Please see pictures to judge the condition of this patch. This patch displays nicely and would make an excellent addition to any World War II collection. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for looking.
