Us Model 1850 Foot Officer Sword. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. This particular model was made by Lambert and Mast of Philadelphia all maker’s marks are in the scrollwork on the blade that can only be seen now in the right light and for the life of me I could not capture but very little of this. But in the right light you can see the makers name… This company only made swords from 1861 to 1865. This is a real Civil War sword made during the war for use in that war. Overall length is about 38 inches the blade has only two small roll marks about 6 inches from the tip ...tip is perfect. Handle is slightly loose but not excessive sharkskin grip is very nice with all the wires intact. Overall average or better condition of a rare manufacture.
