US Civil War C. Roby & Co Model 1860 Cavalry Sword Saber w/Scabbard

S Civil War Model 1860 Cavalry Officers Sword with Scabbard. The ricasso is marked "C. Roby & Co.". The guard is tight but a little deformed. The grip is also tight, the leather is 60% complete and the twisted wire wrap is 100% complete but it is slightly popped out of the hole near the guard
. The blade is straight, lightly sharpened, the tip is sharp, some nicks along the edge, and has light age spots scattered throughout. The scabbard is solid overall with no dents, the drag has an "M", and the throat piece is missing. The leather washer is intact. Length of the blade is 35 5/16" (1 1/16" wide and 5/16" thick), the sword is 41 3/8", and in the scabbard it is 42 1/4".
This is a Pre-Contract Roby made between 1859 to 1862, supposedly only 410 were made
