Tiffany Civil War Presentation Sword

Description

This beautiful sword by Tiffany & Co civil war presentation sword features all brass hilt construction, ornately detailed and in outstanding condition.  Fittings on the nickel-silver scabbard are also brass and feature detailed "Union" patriotic engraving.   Blade is unplated steel, and features ornate etching motif on both sides.  Both the ricasso is marked "Tiffany & Co" as well as the scabbard, which has a tiny Tiffany backplate attached to the upper throat area on the back.  I did not take pictures of the entire blade or scabbard, but the blade pictures provided show the condition of the entire blade, which is uniform and shows no damage or rust, worse that what you see in the photos.  Also, the scabbard has a few very minor impacts, but nothing serious and hard to photograph.  Overall length is approximately 40 inches.  Blade tip and edge are great!  This is a great opportunity to add an outstanding Civil War sword to your collection.  Buyer to pay flat shipping anywhere in the US.
