Description
The Technics SL-MA1, released in 1986 only in the Japanese market, is a classic “Golden Era” direct drive turntable with a stellar reputation for quality. It features a rock-solid quartz phase-locked speed control, and the whole unit is built with quality and precision. With impressive technical specs, such as a wow and flutter of < 0.025% WRMS (JIS C5521), the SL-MA1 has achieved a solid reputation in the years following its release, and its great motor and extremely silent operation are mentioned by critics. A great find, at a reasonable price!
This turntable is in very good condition, with some aging, including some scratches, stains and scuffs (Please see pictures).The target light is not working. It has been tested by our professional technician, confirming its flawless operation. All settings work perfectly, and the platter rotation is stable.
