THIS IS A VINTAGE (c. 1950s) WATER PITCHER MARKED: “HEPP EXCLUSIV 18/8 HOTEL SILBER”.
18/8 REFERS TO UNDERLYING HEAVY STAINLESS STEEL. IT IS QUADRUPLE (RAILROAD) SILVER PLATED.
GEBRUDDER HEPP IS A GERMAN COMPANY THAT MAKES LUXURY QUALITY SILVER PIECES FOR MANY FAMOUS EUROPEAN HOTELS.
THIS LARGE (2.0 L), HEAVY (3 lbs) PITCHER WAS MADE FOR HOTEL SILBER (see note below).
