Spear pointed blade measures 32 3/4" with an 18" fuller reaching the ricasso. The ricasso is marked with the initials S & K for Schnitzler & Kirschbaum sword makers. The sword grip is checkered bone mounted with the eagle's head pommel. The sword guard bears the well-designed Indian Princess figure along with American shields, banner, tobacco leaves, crossed Roman fasces, and a cannon barrel. The obverse knuckle bow features the design of a beehive with radii while the reverse is a blossom. The thumbguard bears a coiled serpent. The scabbard is leather with intact stitching but the brass throat and drag are missing. The condition of the sword is very good with very few minor nicks on the blades edge.
