    Description

    Here is a rare, antique, 19th century silver plate syrup pitcher in the fabulous 'Assyrian Head' pattern, made by the Meriden Silver Plate Co.
    It is marked on the reverse: 'Meriden B. Company', and 'Quadruple Plate'.
    It measures 4- 3/4 inches tall (with knob), by 3 inches in diameter, and 5- 1/4 inches long from spout to handle.
    This rare pitcher is in excellent condition, with no dents, or other damage, and just some wear and scuffing to the original lacquered surface layer which gives it some mottled patches.
    Otherwise it is free from damage or repairs.
