    Description

    Civil war era 1857 - 1870 R. Bunting & Son Sheffield Folding Dirk Fighting Knife. This knife has been used, carried, and shows signs of its age. It measures 5 3/4" closed, and 11 3/4" open. The bone scales are broken, with pieces missing from the back scale. The very tip of the blade is chipped, but overall this piece is still in great condition for the age. The blade locks open, is fairly tight, and appears to be 95%+ full, save for the tip chip. This rare knife will make an excellent addition to any collection, display, or repair.
