Possible Civil War Knife Dagger

Possible Civil War knife, not entirely sure if it’s from the Civil War era or not
Has a blade length of about 6” with an overall length of about 10”, blade is unsharpened but very thick and has a nice point. I at first thought it was made from a file but now am not so sure, the guard and blade are one piece. Handle has something rattling inside near where it was pounded with a hammer. Knife and handle are very tight. Knife has a nice weight to it.
Included is an unoriginal replacement sheath.
