    Description

    Here we have an all Original Antique Civil War Era Union US Model M1855 Springfield Socket Bayonet. It measures 21” long. It was found in Pennsylvania barn and is in very good to excellent condition with some minor surface rust. There are no chips, cracks or nicks to the blade. The tip is perfectly intact. Most of the blade still shows it’s original “Blueing”! The socket diameter is 3/4” complete with clamp which is free! It is stamped with U. S. and a letter “X” is on the ferule.
    The blade itself measures 18” long.
    A great find in great condition.
