The Patch:
This Auction is for 1 WWII Vintage WWII Original Ordnance OCS patch with a black back.
This patch has been used and is in good condition.   It has a very nice black backing.  This patch does not glow under the UV light and is guaranteed to be authentic.
The History: The

was activated as part of the
Ordnance
School
at the Proving Grounds in
Aberdeen
,
Maryland
in July of 1941.  Its objective was to train officers for the Ordnance Corps and by the end of the war it had trained almost 54,000 officers.  The Ordnance Corps was concerned with the supply of arms and munitions.  They were later responsible for developing new weapons, providing aid to allied nations, evaluation enemy materials (there are tons of World War II tanks at the

because of this responsibility).  The Corps also supplied and maintianed armored vehicles.  This insignia was approved for local wear only and was worn in the same way as the regular OCS patch.

Some of these patches have been used. If an item is listed as used it may be sewn on, have some dirt on it or have loose threads. I try not to post items with excessive wear because I want you to get good quality items. I try to post good photos of each item but they get shrunk down when they appear in the listing. If you have any questions about condition, please ask me. I can email you the original photo and can make larger scans if you give me enough time. Please ask. I will be happy to give you as much information as I can about an item so that you can make an informed decision about the item before bidding. The Shipping: Shipping will be .00 for buyers in the United States. I will combine shipping if you wait for my invoice. I Ship World Wide. Shipping will be .00 for all orders that are less than .00 in total value. All orders that total more than .00 must be sent via Parcel Post. This costs .00 and includes.  I won't falsify customs forms.  Please do not ask.

Please ask if you want to have auctions from two different weeks combined. I will usually allow this to happen if you see something you want to bid on that is ending the following week, but I won't combine more than two weeks of auctions because I have had problems with non payment in the past.
I do try to check daily to see who has paid to try to get things out quickly, but will always try to make a mailing on Saturdays and Tuesdays
