. Three chambered wooden drum called Shoptu (local language)
, Wooden lid (Dup). Strong wooden stirrer Kelu, Bamboo sieve known as Chergang and Piece of cotton cloth.
The main ingredients used in making this natural

are Yak/cow milk,
Lime, butter milk, lemon or anything containing lactic acid. The process of making this

is very traditional. Fresh Yak/Cow milk is boiled and lime is added depending upon the quantity of milk. It is stirred with strong wooden stick Kelu. We need to stir the boiling milk continuously. As the milk start boiling a thick layer of butter starts to form in the milk. The butters is Extract and it’s keep aside (it is not used to make

After 2 to 3 hours of stirring and boiling the milk, white cheese starts forming. These white cheeses are separated with the help of large bamboo sieve called Chergang.
