This eBay Buy-It-Now listing features a fine reproduction wallpaper that was printed about twenty years ago by the Hobe Erwin company. The Hobe Erwin company specialized in historical reproductions for many years, going back to the 1930s. In fact, they created wallpapers that were used in the sets of "Gone With the Wind."
Unfortunately their firm is now out of business and their patterns are no longer in production. I am pleased to be be able to offer my limited remaining inventory to eBay customers at this time.
This border combines flowers and leaves with sculptural acanthus and architectural motifs that were popular during the Federal, Empire, Greek Revival Era and would be appropriate for historic interiors of the early 19th Century.
NOTE: The third pic illustrates the border as installed in a very stylish Manhattan residence.
SPECS:
This listing is for the absolute last of my inventory: this is a five yard (fifteen feet) continuous piece of border.
The border is 9 1/2" in height and has a 19" horizontal pattern repeat.
It is printed on standard heavy paper (NOT vinyl) and is pre-trimmed and unpasted. Traditional powdered cellulose/wheat paste would be appropriate for this product.
SAMPLES:
Sorry, because of the limited quantity, no samples are available. The first pic is a very accurate representation of the coloring.
BUY-IT-NOW:
The price is for the piece of border, five yards (fifteen feet) in length.
