Battery Installation and Light Switch Operation
Two Energizer Batteries are included with the Hess Emergency Truck. To open the battery compartment, press the release latch and lift. Insert the batteries with one positive terminal toward the left and one toward the right as indicated in the battery compartment and in the illustration.
To activate all lights, push the red switch to the "ALL LIGHTS" position. To activate the search light, push the red switch to the "SEARCH LIGHT" position. To activate pulsating headlights, emergency flashers, pulsating searchlight and flashing tail lights, push the red switch to the "FLASHERS" position.
Sound & Flashers Switch Operation
To activate the horn, push the white switch to the "HORN" position. To activate the siren, pulsating head lights, emergency flashers, and search light, push the white switch to the "SIREN/FLASHERS" position.
To activate the back up alert and flashing tail lights, push the white light switch to the "BACK UP ALERT/REAR FLASHERS" position.
Any combination of red and white switch functions may be selected simultaneously.
