ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This is a genuine Roland replacement foam cushion for a KD-140.  It is the cushion that sits behind the center of the bass drum head where the beaters hit.  It is not the small black foam cone that makes the drum trigger (we have a separate listing for the replacement foam cones).  This cushion is not connected to any electronics and is just meant to absorb some of the impact from the beaters so the mesh head doesn't wear out as quickly.  This is a genuine Roland replacement.
