EXCELLENT CONFEDERATE ENFIELD
CAVALRY SABER
The famous Enfield pattern cavalry saber that were imported for use by Confederate cavalrymen. The sword is completely unmarked. Since it is made without the British markings it signifies being one that was sent to North America. This beauty has a nice full-length blade with a wonderful even patina look all over. The iron hand guard and backstrap are still present and they are tighter than your crazy uncle on New Years Eve. All of the iron parts still have that untouched smokehouse look that collectors hope for. The handle of the sword has the original pressed leather grip on each side that is as nice as you will ever find. The sword is accompanied by a complete and original metal scabbard with both mounts, rings, drag in great shape.
