Original scabbard for a Clauberg Staff & Field Civil War Officer's Sword. Elaborate hilt and silver grip were removed years ago and utilized elsewhere. Scabbard measures 33" overall with throat opening 1 1/4" x 3/8". Scabbard is nice and straight and dent free except for drag which has noticeable dents to each side. Middle, upper bands and throat are excellent with a nice patina. Original blade for this scabbard measured 32" without tang.
