    Description

    Civil War Side Knife that was cut down from an early militia sword. The knife is around 15 inches long.  Handle is very nice wood.  The soldier made this into a nice knife.  Definitely used during the war.  The guard is just a bit loose but all other parts are very tight.  The knife has a scabbard with the end having a slight hole that was made by the point of the knife.  The knife has a great design and can tell it was made from an early militia sword.  Very nice.
