Civil War Model 1860 Cavalry Sword Saber

Description

US Civil War Model 1860 Cavalry Sword. Completely unmarked. The grip, guard and pommel are tight. The side of the knuckleguard is marked "713" and it is a little bent. The leather grip is 75% complete. The brass twisted wire is complete but possibly a replacement and moves some. The blade has been sharpened, some nicks on the lower half, has a little light pitting with minor surface rust scattered, darkened patina, and has a couple slight bends on the last 5" by the tip. The washer is missing. No scabbard. Length of the blade is 33 3/8" (1 1/8" wide and 5/16" thick), and the sword is 38 5/8".
