The socket bayonet is in good condition. It has been painted over with silver color. Silver is wearing off in several places.
There are no nicks or pitting to the blade. The socket has some pitting and rust. Knife comes to a point and the tip is intact. Sheath is in good condition. There are no major dents or scratches and the coloring is still intact. Throat has some very light wear around it. The leather frog is in fair condition. It is marked "C.K.C.". The stitching is still good but the finish is coming off. The brass looks good, but there is some verdigris around where the brass meets the leather. The brass has been painted and the paint is wearing off in several places. Socket bayonet and sheath may need a light cleaning to meet your standards. Please see our photographs for a better understanding of the contents and its condition.
