CIVIL WAR CONFEDERATE SWORD Marked COLUMBIA S.C. WITH SCABBARD

This Auction is for a CIVIL WAR CONFEDERATE SWORD  Marked COLUMBIA S.C. WITH SCABBARD.
This sword is 41 1/4" Long , the blade is 35 1/2" Long.  This is marked as you can see in the photo. I only
see this mark I do not see any makers mark.  The scabbard has a dent in the top below the opening on both
side when the loop is attached.  The sword fits the scabbard fine, but where the dent is when you place the
sword inside it starts to get tight about 3" before it is in, so I do not push it. I do believe that the dent inside
can be pushed out, but not a job for me. This looks to be all original with the scabbard and has a nice pentina
The handle does need to be re-wrapped with wire, you can it is looks on the lower part. The handle is a little
loose, it is minor but there so the buyer is aware. Please see all photos before you bid and if you have questions,
