    Description

This item is an Antique Victorian Era Tilt Water Pitcher on Stand / Silver plated.  It does not have an identifying markings on it other than the numbers "403 1 2" on the bottom of the pitcher and the numbers "92" on the bottom of the stand.  The item has silver polish remnants on it so I am listing as Silver plated as it had been previously polished.  There is a band of birds, flowers and flower pot around the top lid and bottom of the pitcher as well as around the bottom of the stand.  The stand has a wonderful set of two (on each side) tall birds on each side - between one set of birds looks like a hook for hanging something.  The Pitcher's lid has a  small child on top (missing one arm).  Lots of etched decoration on both side of the pitcher -  (a couple extra dents on one side) as well as the rods which set on the stand to allow it to tilt and pour and a nob on each side at the bottom that keeps it from moving when not in use.    Stand measures approx. 17 3/4" tall x approx. 9 1/4" round.  The pitcher measures approx. 11" tall x approx. 10 3/4" from spout to end of handle x approx. 7 1/8" across round bottom.
