Maker mark on bottom (see photo): LANDERS FRARY AND CLARK "UNIVERSAL' 9822 NEW BRITIAN  COMM U.S.A. (also includes a series of Patent numbers, with the date 1917.

NOTE:  Photos have some orange artifacts from the reflection of my camera (which is orange).
Overall: Good to Very Good
Finish:  Still has some of the original gloss, but shows it's age with some tarnish.  Some light scuffs (quite a few) and a few little scratches.
No attempt has been made to restore the original luster.
There is an area where the silver has rubbed off revealing a bronze color.
Other flaws:  There are a few little dents, none significant.  There one minor dent on the bottom.
Some heavier rub-wear on the bottom, with one little chip and some scuffing on the rim.  But the bottom is very shiny and the makers marks are easy to read.
The opening has a little more tarnish.  Some scuffing on the handle.
The inside appears to have some tarnishing and possible rust on very bottom.
Overall, this is well-used with many cosmetic flaws, but may be improved by someone who is skilled at restoration and cleaning of silver.
