US Model 1860 Light Cavalry Saber by Ames. 34.5" curved, single-edged blade, brass 3-branch guard, leather wrapped grooved wood grip with twisted wire. Obverse Ricasso marked
US/JF/1865
and reverse Ricasso with Ames scroll logo. Pommel cap with
JCW
inspection. Scabbard tight on sword could be humidity has no visible inspection marks. Condition is Very Good with some expected battlefield wear and the
retailer markings light.
