    Description

This is a set of two World War II artifacts associated with the 510th Fighter-Bomber Squadron -- treasured keepsakes of our beloved father and WWII vet.
The first is a United States Army Air Forces 510th Fighter-Bomber Squadron jacket patch. The embroidered patch shows a crazed wolf waving a revolver riding on the back of a bomber. Rounding out the set is a beautiful Blazer Crest --
handmade of bullion and velvet -- which
replicates the image embroidered on the patch.
The Crest was produced by Gold Crest, Ltd.,
    North Hollywood, California. The Crest
attaches with two strong magnets that keep it securely in place but causes no damage to the garment it is being worn on. Both artifacts are in gorgeous condition, as they were securely stored for many years in a safe deposit box. They show little, if any, evidence of age, use or handling. (As always, of course, please examine the hi-res photos and let your own eyes be the judge).
This Patch measures 4 3/4 inches in diameter and the Crest has a diameter of 3 inches.
