Description
This is a gorgeous antique tilting insulated silverplate pitcher. It has beautiful elegant etchings and designs that incorporates birds, flowers, and leaves. The stand measures 18" tall and has a diameter across the bottom of 9 1/4". The picher alone measures 12 1/2" tall (with the lid on) and has two bolts attached to the center of the piece on the side allowing it to hang onto the stand. There is a small ball attached to the rim of the pitcher that works as a stop to hold the piece in place so it doesnt continue to swing back and forth when not in use.
The inside of the pitcher is insulated and made to hold ice water or lemonaid on the dining table. By tilting the pitcher to pour a drink it is alot easier than walking with such a heavy piece to fill glasses.
There are some light pithing spots around the piece and some dings/denting in the metal itself. It is a large piece and the small flaws do not take away from it being a
showstopping piece.
