1889 Antique REED & BARTON Silverplate Tilting Water Pitcher PRESENTATION PIECE!

$ 237.6

Availability: 66 in stock
  • Condition: Condition is REALLY GREAT on the silverplate with no dents and very little tarnish (a little inside but not bad too) and missing only the cup and the drip plate in the photos. It would fill the opening in the stand below the pitcher to catch any water that drips from the spout, down the pitcher. (It protects the table from drips.) The lid unscrews (one screw is missing but the remaining one holds it together just fine) and the ceramic liner is removable for cleaning. The ceramic liner is a little discolored around the outside base foot and a little on the spout. There is a small crack on the outside of the base on the foot of the ceramic insert but it does NOT go inside and it is fine for liquid. (please see last photo) Few light scratches but not bad considering this is 150 years old and looks absolutely TERRIFIC!!
  • Style: Victorian
  • Maker: Reed & Barton
  • Age: 1850-1899
  • Composition: Silverplate
  • Brand: Reed & Barton
